Mend Simpson EZIset 550 Works Pump Drain

Simpson EZIset 550 won't spin?

Everything works fine except the spin cycle. Have tried the spin only cycle and the pump to drain works OK; keeps pumping for some time until it just stops the cycle, without spinning.
Any clues?

Simpson Simpson EZIset 550 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Works Pump Drain

Check on wash cycle if agitator goes both ways. If not then there may be a broken wire going to the motor for the spin direction. Could also be a fault on the control board.
