Mend Ariston A1535 Washing Machine No Water Blocked

Spinning dial - not blocked?

I have an Ariston A1535. I have checked for blockages. No water is entering machine - it seems completly dead. The dial spins round, we have tried counting the flashes. They vary depending on where you set the dial from 3 to over 60. Anyone got any ideas???
