Mend Servis M9912B-I Machine Conditioner Compartment

How can I clear a blocked washing machine drawer?

My Servis washing machine conditioner compartment in the drawer has a blockage and is full of water, I checked the instructions on how to clean but they don't seem to work, they ask me to pull out and push down and it should come free (and this has also been the case for other machines) however it clearly doesn't want to come out and I don't want to break it as 1. I rent and 2. Servis no longer exists. There are screws, but should I unscrew them? I'm unsure as I don't reckon I can get the screwdriver back to screw them back in. Any suggestions? It is a Servis M9912B-I and is integrated into my kitchen.

Thanks, But do I need to remove the screws to do this as I have tried pulling and tilting and there is resistance which makes me think I need to remove the screws to be able to get the drawar off the unit?

Good advice from Brian. You could also pop the drawer in the dishwasher on a lower temp. Comes out like brand new.

You should be able to remove the drawer by pulling out as far as it will go and then tilt it upwards. Take the top off of the conditioner compartment and clear all the holes to unblock them, then run some water through them. It's an easy job, did mine a few weeks ago, best to clear them a couple of times a year.
