PLS HELP!!! F&P washing machine keeps stopping?

F&P w/machine keeps stopping, when filling the water is barely coming through - we have tested the taps & they are working perfectly and we have checked the hoses aren't blocked. Have absolutely no idea y it isn't filling properly & keeps stopping??? Saw another question where someone suggested the lid may not be locking which cld stop the water flow, we have checked the lid & it's fine.....can anyone help??????

i have the same problem i have a hotpoint washing machine and when ever i do a wash it stops about 10 times and show a picture of a tap i think its not getting hot water i wondered if one of the valves was not on on the boiler but i dont no what to do any ideas many thanks

its the cold water inlet pump, swap the cold water inlet pipe with the hot water inlet pipe and on control panel click button that says hot water and start cycle if water starts pumping as normal then its cold water inlet pump.

What model number? When you say it keeps stopping is that straight after you press start? Is the water just trickling in with a loudish hissing noise? Is the problem only on cold or is the hot valve doing the same?
