janome 200e emboidery machine?

can anyone advise me why my embroidery machine keeps forming loops every now and again? and is it ok to trim these off when the pattern is finished?

is there any way I can stop the thread from snapping when i am using it, it keep getting caught around the thread bobbing on the top and causing it to snap

try a new embroidery needle and if that doesnt help the problem could be dirt between pressure disc on tension unit. take a piece of material,put it between the discs and move pro and forth. the only other solution is to send it for service
