Mend Accenta mini g3 Alarm Showing Code

My accenta mini g3 alarm keeps bleeping ?

I took the front cover of & now it is showing tamperd when I put my code in to set alarm nothing happens I only have 1 zone please can you help

Q. Why did you take the cover off in the first place?

If it's 5yrs or more - replace it, bet that's your problem

Hi thank you for your help I have taken the cover of & put the battery back in but the tamper light is still showing & when I put my code in nothing happens [ie there is no bleep from the numbers like as though my numbers have not been entered hope this helps ]

Pit the cover back on, ........ , correctly, then try again.
