Mend Kenmore 110.22914601 Rinse Spin

kenmore 60 series model 110?

Cuts out on the end of rinse and wont spin.It just stops during the rinse cycle and if you listen you don't hear the timer. If I move the dial forward. Nothing. If I rotate the dial all the way around to the rinse cycle it will start again if its previous to the point it stopped at and then stop again when it reaches that point.

We have this same washer and had the same issue last night.. So I decided to take the back off and investigate... we found that the safty switch that allows the washer to spin only when the lid is closed was no longer working and smelled burnt... So what we did was remove this little brown box from the mix all together and wire it direct. And now it works great!!!! Saved us from having to spend the extra money right before xmas !!!! But pleaseeeeee Use caution if doing this if you have small children in the home..... After all this safety feature was added for a reason.
