Kenmore series 70 washer fills, agitates, but no more. Why?
Kenmore series 70 washer fills, agitates, but no more. It will not drain. The timer makes no noise. When I rotate the dial to rinse, it will agitate, but not drain or spin.
What could be wrong?
How do I get the back off to check things like the filter or how do I get to the timer if these are the problems/
Hi,
We have the same model. The coupling at the bottom of the agitating post which connects the motor to the agitator breaks very easily. We've replaced ours 3 times and I 'm looking at a fourth. The part costs $18 but the service calls run over $100. It's a piece of junk.
