To obtain reset to factory default you must do it through the BIOS. At the DELL logo screen press F2 enter setup (Award Phoenix). From the main screen tab to optimised setting, confirm your ghoice, tab to save and exit and select, confirm Y to save and restart your machine. Should be done. Any problem leave a message on this site and I will reply again. I have several factory discs for DELL GX150/240/280 etc.
