i ve dell d600,when i on it,it wil get to dell logo and freze but if i presed it thightly,it wil boot up.what should i do to solve dis hanging stuf thanks to al?

If you press WHAT tightly? A simple "it" can be just about anything...

It may mean that there could be a false contact somewhere.

By "at the Dell logo", do you mean the splash screen after the POST, and BEFORE the login screen?

It looks like it's a model from around 2003, that's about 9 years old. It may be time to think about updating to a more current laptop...
