Yale alarm app requires password/login?

I have a Yale IA-320 alarm system and use the Yale app on my Android phone. The app periodically requires you to login which is a real pain. Particularly since the password manager does't normally store and autocomplete credentials for apps. Imagine coming home, triggering the entry delay and then realising you have to log in before you can disarm the alarm.
I have tried using fingerprint login instead. This doesn't help, because the same thing happens, periodically I have to login using the password.
I can't find any setting which requires login after so many uses, or a way of stopping it ever asking for the password. The best option I have is to pick a simple password, so I won't ever struggle to login.
