Blank remote keypad?

My remote key pad is dead, days ago I had to remove keypad from wall to decorate, when closing keypad t hanging on wire temporary one of the internal tabs broke off, this caused the system to show tamper fault. I cleared the fault and taped the two halve together, when I remove the tape today for second look the red wire came out of the terminal block and key pad went blank, I replaced the red wire back into the 12v block but the keypad is still dead.
