hi you could leave door open but you would need to take light bulbs out as they would overheat and possibliy burn light casing ...

you will need this samsung fridge freezer repair kit to solve your prob ...

high temp in fridge
fridge display will read normal
noise in fridge - (stops when fridge door opened)
ice build up around water tank - may stop water dispensor
temp in freezer will not be effected at all
