I accidently set my alarm (accenta g3)off on sat, this was quickly stopped using the code. no probs, so i thought, when it got dark i noticed the strobe was flashing. when i looked at key pad i noticed that the original alarm had not been reset,
it did reset although the internal sounder was now extremely loud and the strobe continued to flash.
having spent 20 quid phoning the "tech help line"
and being told to put in code and press reset(cheers!!) i then decided to power down system,
have removed mains, battery, disconnected all outputs( buzzer, strobe etc) and pulled 3 fuses.
all was dead except external box alarm (which was sounding).
anyway have now reinstated all power etc but left
strobe disconnected as it was still flashing!!! arghh.
sorry its long winded but thought it could save some peoples time by stating everything done.
So, any help would be very gratefully received, thanks in advance.
No relays in the Accenta, Transistors only, Still a pile of shite, Its normally a failed battery causes the strobe to flash, who knows why,
Remove from wall, throw in bin, and fit a Scantronic, peace and quiet

Correct method is to put code in to stop alarm condition.
Then put code in again and press reset.
Sorry but thats the way, sounds like a stuck relay.
