Optima compact Strobe light keeps flashing, no led's? ?

Thanks for that Tony. Sorry for the late response. The installation I'm questioning is at my inlaws. What puzzles me is that I have already installed the exact same system in my house and it works perfectly. The only difference is I do not have PIRs only magnets. I'm beginning to wonder if the tampers on the PIRs need to be connected although the TA is bridged as you say there may be an inherant problem in the circuitry! Hmmmmm!

we have exactly the same problem and were advised to buy the reson8 bell box which we fitted and have the same problem. spoke to tech support who were not too helpful other than blaming my connections/programming and sanity. at their request returned panel for inspection and it came back with a link fitted to the scb terminals which made the strobe function correctly but stopped the bell working.i suspect these panels have an inherant problem as i found in the system test mode you can check the function of thr bell,strobe and internal speaker,all of which work but strobe fault still persists
