Very true words gts,

My lad (youngest) sees all my stuff and equipment as old tat lol,Me tried to show him how my tektronic 475 oscilloscope worked and what it was used for once,he not interested and said " no one uses these things anymore ,does it still work it's a dinosaur ".

See old skool tech no use to these young uns today and all will be forgotten in the near future as they like the devices that only use two leads and bleeps.

They are not interested in the visual wave forms of VI

do you know somthing emanno,when us old guys are gone,the younger guys will have no clue what we have done in our life time ,yes they will have the benifit of books and the like ,but they will not feel what we have felt like to experience things ,to work on the electronics in our lifetime,i envy our children e manno,they will know much more than we will,to them,we will be like the dinosaurs all my life has been around physics and electronics,i wish i could live a lot longer to see how the human race gets on ,to see if my son gets his pilots licence,like his dad

Had a nice tristar 120 chan with am/ fm frequency gts,did the old trick and split the channels,never really cared for fairy Mary,too many bucket mouths and idiots.

Used to be rig doctor lol.

No offence taken me old mate:),

Repaired all including the base stations mic's echo chambers, boots etc :)

fm killed it for me ,was into am ,but this gov shot us down,sods that they are ,and some dicks on am used high power burners caused probs with hospital gear,
i dont like ham users ,i found they are mostly dick heads,too far up their own bum,mostly called nigel,or pharqaur,you know the type e manno

to true alarm ,bits of the brown stuff bot by idiots.like the guys who used to put neon light on their twig in the old days of cb radio,they had not the brains to know their rig sent 4 watts out,if you put a neon light on it ,u cut ur trans power by half,but.hey.it looked good,!!!sad idiots

Not the best choice of sounder for a DIY install in my opinion, also the strobe LED's on them are crap.

Return it and buy a texecom odyssey 3e or get a pro in.
