when and how long should i charge my battery on my hp compaq presario cq62 laptop. If i am sitting near an electric socket should i keep it plugged in when i am using it or disconnect it when fully charged?
harge the laptop until the abttery is 100% charged. There is normally an icon in control panel that you can use to investigate the power level. You can of course use the ac power adapter constantly as the laptop wil prefer ac power to battery power and you can't overcharge lithium ion battery packs as they are protected by the lap top charging circuits
