Mend Avent 7081 Laptop Battery Charger

avent laptop 7081 cant charge laptop?

hi
i have just brought a battery for lap top.
batterys working fine,but when charger is plugged in it wont charger battery or wont work laptop using charger only.think it is either charger or power jack.
any idea how to replace power jack/
