How do I rewire a necchi lycia 522 sewing machine. It has 5 wires and the machine i have does not have the black neutral wire linked up. I am a sewing machine engineer but I have not seen this machine before

Hello Doody,
Major problem, the colours of the wires are for the Italian wiring system and do not correspond with UK wiring, I had the same problem for years for the 30 years I was a sewing machine engineer and never figured it out.
