Mend Necchi 3205 FA Sewing Machine

Necchi 3205 FA clutch will not move?

I recieved this sewing machine for Christmas and the clutch will now not move. It did work once for bobbin winding but now will not engage/disengage at all. There is nothing in the manual. Help :)

Thanks for the info...but I'm still at a loss. There are no ridges on the stop motion wheel???

Hello sar,
If it has been overtightened you will need to get a wide blade screwdriver, stand at the side of the machine where the balance wheel is, place the screwdriver on one of the ridges on the stop motion wheel on the left hand side, give it a good thump down and you will find it will free off.
