Mend hoover HNF7167 Stopped Help Cleaning

hoover HNF7167 has stopped taking the softener help please?

My hoover HNF7167 has stopped taking the softener I have tried cleaning the draw, putting it on a hot wash and cleaned the drain but this has not helped
