I'm trying to replace the carbon brushes on my Beko 1517, but there seems to be plastic expanding rawl plugs (my best description!) which the motor's bolts screw into. All of the bolts have been removed, but these rawl plugs are not allowing me to remove the motor. Does anyone know how to remove the motor?
all you do is lever the motor over the plastic mounting points. Can be tricky and I use a claw hammer and using the claw end prise motor over the mountings.
