Mend Philips 60P8288 Power Switch Few Times

power switch blinks a few times?

my power switch light turns on and blinks a few times then shuts down, i get no picture or sound

i have a philips magnavox projection television model 60P8288

ANY HELP?

You're not alone and the Magnavox company is no damned help at all! I have the same problem and their FAQ section on their "customer service" site which supposedly addresses this issue comes back with an answer that you should write to them. I did months ago and am still awaiting a reply. NEVER will buy a Magnavox again!!!!
