Mend Philips 26PF5521D/031D3 Power Green Led Flashes

Why when I power up, the green L.E.D. flashes on then off. ?

When I plug in my TV to the mains, the green led flashes on then off. The set to all intents an purposes appears dead. The set is a Philips 26" flat screen, Model No 26PF5521D/031D3.

It may well be that the Green Light you see is telling you that all is well with the set - all the power supplies are working for instance - and then - after a brief interval - a failure condition arises and the green "All OK" light is turned off.

And as you say - the set is not operating...
