Mend Miele G863 Dishwasher Drain

Miele G863 dishwasher intake/drain light blinks?

My Miele G 863 stops running and the intake/drain light blinks. I know that the drain works because I can here it drain when the dishwasher turns on. It runs for about one munite then shuts off. I can hear water running through the intake hose when the machine is first running.

Open the drain filter inside the dishwasher and look for the water sensor, it is a silver probe that is about 1 inch long and 3/8 of an inch in diameter, may need to be pushed back in by removing the bottom frront cover and pushing it back in to the rubber grommet.
