Mend Miele G692 Dishwasher Drain Pump

how to remove and replace drain pump unit on miele g692 dishwasher?

The pump init is not coming on at the beginning of the cycle and the red warning light is flashing. Have checked water inlet and drain pipe for blockage but both OK. I have assumed that this unit has to be removed from the underside of the machine. Can I tip the machine on its back and are there any tips that anyone has which will make this job easier?

Miele Miele G692 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Dishwasher Miele Drain Pump

Take off the non return valve below the filter, see if the ball is free, check that the drain pump impeller will turn by hand & there are no obstructions( bits of glass etc).
It is very unlikely that the drain pump is faulty.
If you need to remove the pump, tip the machine on its side & remove the base plate for access.
