going to delayed start?

My washer is a Hoover Nextra Optima HNL 7166.
When i turn my washer on and select a program and press start 9 out of 10 times it will start the cycle and then go to delayed start. No matter what you do it with it, it will not go off of delayed start. You can leave the washer for days but the delayed start will not go off. This time it will not go off even when it has been turned off at the mains. I have now turned it back on at the mains and it is still on delayed start. I have never used the delayed start on the washer it always comes on, on its own.
