how can i fix my 2003 Asko model W6021 washing machine?

when I turn on power button ( light comes on ) , push door closed , it locks . Push start button , do not hear water going into machine (water is turned on to machine ) . If I wait a minute the barrel rotates 2 times and then stops . Machine will not do anything after that . Push door lock button and door does not open . Turn power button off ,Then turn back on , Push door lock button again ,door opens . After door opens machine will make noise like its trying to run barrel . Nothing happens . Have checked all buttons on controls . They are in normal run mode . Can you please help ?

The combined door lock solenoid and closed switch has failed. It is part number 8061679, alt new Pt # is 251739. Remove the E12-1 grey and Red lead from the PCB, and the E11-1 Orange lead (after removing power from the wall ) and if there is more than 1 Ohm resistance across these two leads, the switch is not making properly, which will cause no power to the machine, as well as no power to the solenoid. If the door will not open, there is in the coin and debri collection point, a red handle which you unscrew and pull to open the door. The resistance across the switch when new will be almost nothing.
