I think the problem lies with the mixture screws their should be two one for idle and one for running at high revs. Not knowing which screw is which, usually the one closest to the air filter is the high revving one but i am not sure. You will have to start it and put a mark on the body of the carby and then on each mixture screw with nicko marker and then adjust each one starting with one at a time to find out which one is the idler screw, do not move the screw very much at all only a millimeter at a time one way or another, with the idler screw your weed eater will probably stop then just turn it back to the mark and start it again it should start so you must adjust the other screw. again do not adjust by more than a millimeter at a time. Ive found that anticlockwise is turning the screw out which should increase the fuel flow in high revs. But I am not that sure. Good luck anyway
