My Hoover Nextra 7 is not working!!?

I hope someone can help. I am at my wits end with this machine! It is only 18 months old and has broken down three times already. From first purchase it has been playing up. The latest problem is leaking from the bottom. My husband pulled it out to see if we could see the problem. No sign of anything. When he put it back, I put another wash on and all the lights started to flash and the machine now wont wash at all! The lights keep changing from the 60 minute button to the 30 minute and back again and then everything flashes!! Help!! Should I just give up and buy a new machine!
