Mend Brother CS-8150 Sewing Machine Case Thread

Fix my Brother sewing machine cs-8150?

I took my case off to remove some thread wrapped around the wheel.
When i put it back together, the shaft that comes holds the needle doesn't come down in the right place. I can move the shaft to the right place, but it springs back. I think Brother does something on purpose so if you take the machine apart, you don't know the secret to getting it right.
Anyone know what I need to do?

unless you know exactly what you are doing you should not take machines apart because it only means more expense in the end, you will need to take it to the shop unless you can get things back yourself
