Mend Singer 2010 Sewing Machine Bobbin Thread

Sewing Machine-Singer Touch Tronic 2010?

The bobbin case won't wind. I've never had a problem with it before. It seems as if the thread is not catching below the bobbin case and is not winding around it. Is there a specific part problem? What can I do to fix it myself?

is the hook moving? is the needle inserted correctly,is the timing set properly,is the cap between the bobbincase and hold down correctly set?simpel way to check hook timing is by moving handwheel and when needle is on upwards motion the hookpoint should just be above needle eye approx 2mm,if hook is not moving it could mean a broken drive gear
