Mend Sony PS3 Work Turn Start

why dosent my ps3 work ??

when i turn my ps3 on it starts up fine but when it has a few seconds to start up nothing comes up just the backgrownd.is this a virus of some sort ??
if so whatcan i do to remove it ?
