Mend Hoover SF 31 Condenser Tumble Drier

Why are there black marks on clothes?

I have a Hoover SF 31 Condenser Tumble Drier and recently noticed that clothes coming out of it have black streaks all over them. It has ruined the edges of shirt collars and cuffs and anything light in colour. Anybody know what 's causing this?

I had a similar problem but it was more like rusty coloured marks due to the drum wearing. We bought the appropriate paint (which could take heat) and it was fine.
