Many thanks CK didn't even know there was a drain pump.
First time I have used this site, will use again, and hopefully I will be able to help you or someone in a similar position to me in the future.

Thnx for advice- I,ve taken the drain pump off at the back and it was full of.....dog hair!!all clean and unblocked now and it's working like a dream .Many thanks for that,it's just saved me a fortune.Thank goodness for these sites :-)))Elaine ( part time tumble dryer fixer!)

if it has a drain pump check that it works.also check for fluff blockage.
