Mend Hoover SF31 Tumble Dryer Fuse House

How to fix a Hoover SF31 Tumble Dryer?

Our SF31 consistently blows the fuse in the house Consumer Unit when the SF31 tries to heat up. The SF31 tumbles the clothes for three or four minutes then the fuse blows.

Element could have shorted out and blows fuse, or is going that way if its the RCD.

Blows an actual fuse or trips a breaker or trips an RCD? Which is it?

Especially if it is the RCD, the element could be failing.
