Mend Nissan Blower Works Work

Heater in 2004 micra?

The blower in my heater only works when i put it to 3 on the dial. The heater is working but the blower doesnt work on the first few settings. I was quoted E1000 for a new part from my local nissan dealer. Does anyone know where i could get one cheaper. HELP
