Mend Citroen C5 Heater Blower Climate Control

Citoen Heater?

A diagnostic centre has diagnosed a blower (open circuit) on the heater of my 2001 Citroen C5 110bhp HDI. The heater fan works on all speeds and climate control appears to work but it blows warm air on the passenger side and cold air on the drivers side. I dont understand why the fan works if it is in open circuit. Has anybody else had this problem?

Sorry, not helpful but I have exactly the same problem, however today, it has suddenly decided to switch to blowing warm air Driver's side and cold air passenger side. (Result for me, wife's not so happy.) No idea why. Think it has done it from new (57)
