Mend Dualit 6 slot Working Year Longer

Dualit 6 slot toaster not working?

I have a year old dualit 6 slice toaster as I went to use it there was a bang and a flash and it no longer worked. I have checked the fuse and taken it apart to clean. No wires look burnt or damaged. The timer works but there is no red light and no heat, so I'm a bit miffed. Can anyone suggest what it might be? Help...

Dualit Dualit 6 slot Kitchen Appliances, Toasters Working Year Longer

Probably the neutral wire thas has burned out.Common fault, even on new machines !!
