?Does this sound like an electrical fault on WD10 Indesit Washer/Dryer?

Our 1 year old indesit washer dryer is no longer working. When we switch it on the red LED has a faint glow which fades out (therefore some power is getting through), we have checked plug and fuse - both fine.
There has been a water leak too - could water be a problem?
Any one got any ideas?
How much for an engineer to come out and fix it?

How do I look at the door clock? I am not aux fait with washing machines.

It is a while since I have looked at this model but there is a chance it could be your door lock.
Make sure your machine is switched off first.
Check for burnt wires at the lock.
