Mend Dualit JKT3 Switch Told Number

Dualit kettle JKT3 needs on/off switch. Told not possible by Dualit?

Have a Dualit kettle JKT3, serial number 200936, needs replacement on/off switch. Dualit say not available because sealed unit. Cannot understand this! Any available, please?

It's to stop people with minimal or zero competence messing with something as potentially dangerous as a kettle full of water and steam.

I can't think of ANY modern kettle that's repairable.

Just nip down to Asda or Sainsbury's and pick yourself up a recent kettle with a warranty for a tenner or so
