Mend Dualit Switch Broken Ideas

how can i fix my dualit toater?

My dualit toaster will not switch off. Also the spring has broken on the pop up and I am not sure how to mend this. Any ideas?

Is it possible the popup is what switches the toaster off? I wonder.

I doubt spares ar available so, unless you are competent to climbinside, just get a new cheap toaster.
