Mend Philips 9P5534C102 Projection Picture

Philips Magnavox 9P5534C102 Projection?

bowed,shrunken, faded picture with blue/ green edge on left and red/yellow on right. It expands and looks normal then shrinks back down and repeats this until the set has been on for awhile, sometimes no pic at first and no audio or loss of volume control with loud bursts. What is wrong and can it be fixed?

usually with projection tv the problems are nearly always caused by a fault on main power output transformer. and the darkened picture and distorted colour is down to the colour tubes inside. and at a cost of between three and five hundred pound each it is not economical to repair them. i myself binned mine with the same fault.
