Mend Philips 60" Tv Picture

Philips 60" tv picture lost?

I have a 60" philips rear projection tv. The problem is occasionally the picture goes black and I lose the sound for about 30 seconds. When the picture and sound come back the mute icon appears in the upper left hand side of the screen.
