How can I get the remote controller back working for the VCR function?
I have a Panasonic NV-VHD1B DVD Player / VCR. I went through the Main Menu > Other Settings using the remote controller, and inadvertently set the 'Remote' option from VCR1 to VCR2 even though there is no second VCR connected. Since then, the remote control has not worked for the video at all although it continues to work fine for the TV. There appears no way of using the few buttons on the VCR itself to get back into the Main Menu to reset it.

In the middle of the remote are 5 buttons forming a cross the middle one is either marked ok or enter, press that button and the number 2 button at the same time and hold them both down for several secconds, you may have to try several times to get it right.
