Toyota RS2000 lower tension?

Hi,
I was given this machine, but it was missing a bobbin holder, I bought one from a local sewing machine shop. I am now having problems with the lower tension, the stitching is very loose. There is no screw on this bobbin holder as per instruction manual. Have I got the wrong one, or is there another way to tighten the tension! I am getting so annoyed with it aarrhhhh!!

Hello Liz,
If there is no screw on the bobbin case then you will never get the tension right, go back to the shop if it is local and get it replaced.
