How to reset a Reich caravan mover?

I got Reich mover control. can't seem to get to work I put new battery in do I have to reset cheers

I found this very useful when my mover decided not to work . I would add that the restet button on some of the older models of the economy version is hard to recognise being very small and recessed inside the casing of the receiver at the front just to the left of the cable connection.

am un motormover reich model nr:527-0520 an constructie 2005, l-am montat pe o caravana AVONDALE MYFLI,si nu pot sa o folosesc,telecomanda porneste dar nu se aude nici un clic la unitatea centrala,am ancercat si un reset,dar de geaba. Poate ma puteti ajuta cu ceva informatii. Cu stima. CULCEANU.

I also have a Reich mover which clicks off after a couple of seconds of trying to mover the van. The caravan battery is on its last legs and after trying to move the van the mover just stopped working no clicking , it just died I followed the advice above and nothing happened so I dissconected the battery for a few seconds then reconected it and followed the reset proceedure and hey presto it works again. Now all I need is a new battery.

Hi, try this
1 ensure rollers are off the wheels
2 ensure handset is turned off
3 Turn on/off key to the on position
4 Do NOT ALLOW A DELAY OF MORE THAN 4 SECONDS when doing steps 5 - 7
5 Press small red button next to the aerial in the electrical control box.
6 WHILST KEEPING RED BUTTON PRESSED double click the on/off button on the handset to the on position, you should hear a click.
7 Click the on/off button once to turn the handset off, release pressure on the red button.
8 double click the on/off button on the handset to turn ON. You should hear a click and the red light on the handset should be on which indicates tune complete. Test with rollers away from the tyres.

You may have to try several times.

If you go to midlandmotormovers.co.uk you can download (and presumably print) the instruction manual. This tells you how to reset the control system, as well as giving you other fault finding information. I don't have a Reich mover but am considering buying one for my new caravan. Good luck, Dave.
