Mend Reich CCW 3144 Mixer Tap Months

problem with Reich mixer tap?

Trigano Tribute, 7 months old, Reich Twist Mixer Tap CCW 3144, Red plastic fitting from base off tap blew up like a ballon making the walls thinner and brittle and eventualy burst pouring water everywhere.
QUESTION can a new red plastic fitting be obtained and is it possible to change.

FORGOT TO ADD if purchased with a credit/debit card then the statement showing the transaction is as good as a receipt..... again refers UK.

Take the tap back to supplier its not fit for purpose so they should replace it not with one that blows up though change maker. Refers UK sale goods act.
