First go to caravan shop explain what you are doing then they can supply parts needed and a better way of removing the pipes

my experience is to have to cut the pipes away from the taps or if you can access the clips holding the pipes to taps slacken right off and heat up pipe ends with hair dryer twist and yank the pipes off the tap then access the nuts or usual splitting the pipe on the tap fitting after sliding clip out of the way will be sufficient to work the pipes off then cut off the split bit on each. if not enough slack to re fit pipes get pipe joiners and length of pipe one colour ,say red and bit used for cold put blue tape on it.
