Mend LG PVE Drive Problem Started

Hard drive start up problem?

Please help!!!
Have exchanged my hard drive in a lg pve and i am having trouble getting it started!
The hard drive starts up when only power is connected but when connected to the main board - nothing???
Hard drive works in my computer ok
Any ideas.
